Hotel Operations Manager

Responsibilities
- Oversee the effective and profitable operation of the hotel.
- Manage various sections within the Front Office, including reception, cashier, telephone, reservations, and baggage services. Evaluate the performance and behavior of junior staff to ensure a positive corporate image is maintained for guests.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service, addressing any complaints with professionalism and care. Assist with the check-in and check-out processes for guests.
- Handle security-related duties by guiding guests in reporting incidents, thefts, or any offenses to the Security department, and manage issues related to undesirable conduct by guests or individuals in public areas in collaboration with security personnel.
- Maintain cash float levels in line with anticipated occupancy. Authorize adjustments to rates and room assignments, process cash advances, and accept cheques following established procedures and credit policies.
- Closely monitor room inventory to maximize occupancy and enhance revenue generation.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management.
- Able to work in rotating shifts.
- Exhibit a positive demeanor, outgoing personality, and strong public relations skills.
- At least 4 years of experience in the hospitality sector with knowledge of Opera software.
