Job Description

The role of Senior Consultant, Advisory requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to work within the Global Advisory & Consulting team. The successful candidate will lead various offshore energy storage projects, managing the delivery of studies from concept through to Pre-Feed with a focus on offshore energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake feasibility studies and early-stage design on sustainable and decarbonization projects for offshore and nearshore applications.
  • Conduct energy strategy consulting work on energy transition and low-carbon solutions, including modeling, business case assessment, and market analysis.
  • Perform Technical Due Diligence on sustainable and decarbonization Mergers and Acquisition projects, providing clients with details of how technical risks can impact their projects.
  • Execute consulting engagements, coordinating with cross-discipline teams to develop bespoke solutions for clients.
  • Take responsibility for effective project management and participate in knowledge sharing to support the development of other team members.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in specific expertise areas, such as gas-related technologies, energy efficiency, renewables, and green hydrogen applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Science, with a relevant higher degree (Masters, PhD, MBA) being a plus.
  • 8+ years of energy/related industry experience, with 5+ years of specific experience in energy transition topics.
  • Proven capability in delivering high-end consulting projects and managing key stakeholders well-regarded.
  • Experience developing energy transition strategy with a strong understanding of Energy Transition technical concepts and commercial feasibility.
  • Familiarity with broad ESG ecosystem, including local and international carbon markets, rules, and regulations.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and financial literacy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and cultural awareness.
