Singapur, Singapore Tech Data Distribution (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Full time

Job Purpose:

The Product Executive will be responsible for driving the sales and profit targets for the related product groups and creating the highest return for both Tech Data and the vendor. This will be achieved through marketing programs, sales training, sales support, technical pre-sales support, vendor contract, and vendor relationship. These activities will be targeted at both the Tech Data extended sales team and the partner community.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales enablement programs for Tech Data and partners.
  • Develop and implement marketing programs to support product group objectives.
  • Execute joint initiatives with our vendor and business partners.
  • Manage inventory turns, inventory fulfillment, and inventory obsolescence minimization.
  • Develop business plans that achieve agreed vendor revenue targets and generate planned profit outcomes.
  • Achieve revenue plans by brand and by market segment.
  • Coordinate various functions within Tech Data to deliver outcomes agreed in each product plan.
  • Maintain and develop operational level vendor relationships.
  • Ensure knowledge of sales processes, proposals, pipeline management, partner engagement to recommend remedial actions where necessary.
  • Ensure highest and continuously improving levels of vendor and partner satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness within the team to promote a safe working environment.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline by product group.
  • Measure and maintain critical product group performance data to ensure Tech Data meets vendor commitments and leverages commercial opportunities for rebates and vendor investment initiatives.
  • Support Product Manager in business forecasting and business planning for product groups with vendors.
  • Provide various reports for commercial decision making.
  • Deal effectively and efficiently with unsatisfactory performance and/or behavior within the team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience within IT distribution.
  • Minimum education level required is a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Appropriate vendor product sales certifications will be an advantage.
  • Self-starter.
  • Results-focused.
  • Sound business acumen.
  • Ability to work with little direction.
  • Influence business outcomes without having direct control.
