Role Summary:

We are seeking an Engineering Technician with expertise in RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and testing RMA devices, supporting remote access requests, and performing test hardware orders. They will also be responsible for coordinating equipment relocation, performing PMs, calibration, and repairs of Test Floor equipment and benches' instruments.

Additionally, the successful candidate will manage day-to-day RMA bench utilization, track and control RMA parts used in testing, and maintain RMA benches and equipment/instruments in the RMA lab.

The role requires strong engineering lab management skills, effective communication, and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and test RMA devices according to Engineer's instructions
  • Support remote access requests through phone, emails, and online system
  • Perform test hardware orders, buy-off, debug, and repair
  • Coordinate and execute equipment relocation including incoming and outgoing
  • Perform/coordinate PM, calibration, and repair of Test Floor equipment - ATE and peripherals, and Benches' instruments as needed
  • Manage day-to-day RMA bench utilization for testing according to priorities
  • Track and control RMA parts used in testing
Requirements:

At least 2 years working experience on different ATE testers and peripherals such as Advantest/Teradyne testers, System level and engineering bench instrument.

Familiar with various system-level testing setup Power, RF etc., and having experience in semiconductor assembly, SMT and packaging associated issue, understanding relevant mechanical test parameters and semiconductor industry process.

Experience in the automotive industry or related products is preferred.

Skills/Knowledge:Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written skills; clear organization and articulation of information; seeks win/win resolutions.

Automotive Systems Knowledge:

Understanding key components and interactions of automotive subsystems; know-how about the automotive application.

Electronic Test Equipment:

Proficient with various electronic instruments: Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, VNA, Oscilloscope etc.

Hands-On Lab Skills:

Strong engineering lab management skills and able organize or upkeep working environment, equipment/instrument always in good working condition (equipment/instrument PM, calibration, upgrade process)
