Job Title: Global Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics principles and practices, including freight management, shipping, and transportation.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is essential, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and manage the shipment process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers.
  2. Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
  3. Prepare and process shipping documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms.
  4. Manage and maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and cargo status.
  5. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements throughout the logistics process.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics operations.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and transportation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and technology.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
