Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at the CAAS Next Generation Programme Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle management of next generation Radar Systems, from system planning and design to implementation and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage Radar projects, ensuring alignment with user objectives within established scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Coordinate with other teams for building and network infrastructure integration, ATM integrations, and resolve deployment and integration issues.
  • Lead and liaise with technical teams to resolve impediments, incidents, and issues.
  • Ensure system compliance to CAAS and Government requirements, policies, and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of radar systems.
  • Support audit and address findings.
  • Manage vendors and contractors to meet project delivery and operation needs.
  • Perform procurement of systems, including evaluation of proposed solutions.
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate and validate implementation in accordance with national and international cybersecurity standards and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Trained in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with 3-5 years of relevant working experience in project management and system implementation.
  • Experience in project management, vendor management, incident management, problem management.
  • Experience with operations or maintenance of safety-critical systems, preferably radar systems.
  • Knowledge or understanding of Radar systems' architectures and environments.
  • Strong experience in managing business, IT, and senior stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of technical aspects of systems integration in diverse technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Government IM8 and CCoP and ATM domain is an added advantage.
  • Good analytical skills, able to multi-task, and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-driven, creative, and team-oriented person with good interpersonal and organizational skills, positive attitude, and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to travel for overseas visits, meetings, and training.

Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
