Accounting Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Business Accountant to join our team at People Profilers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Accounts Receivable, including cash collection, credit management, and debt resolution.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum A Level/Diploma in accounting and have at least 2 years of working experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in the Construction Industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications.

The responsibilities of the Business Accountant include:

  • Preparing and updating Accounts Receivable collection from various sources in a timely manner
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any discrepancies on billing
  • Handling progressive claims and tax invoices to customers
  • Monitoring debts collection as per credit terms given
  • Preparing monthly Accounts Receivable related journal for closing
  • Maintaining complete sales records and proper filing
  • Preparing Accounts Receivable aging report monthly, auditing schedules related to Accounts Receivable, and sending customer statements of accounts
