Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing and Cost Management Professional to lead our Automotive Aftermarket pricing activities. This individual will be responsible for analyzing sales input and market data to define price orientation and create customer price lists.
Main Responsibilities:- Analyze and review current internal cost structure, Gross Price List, price waterfall, customer buying price, competitor selling price, and other marketing intelligence data for price improvement.
- Construct Gross Price Lists for different customer segments based on sales input and market data.
- Monitor sales and profitability, including GMS, CGMS, discount impacts on sales, lost sales analysis, and gate-keeper of margins.
- Escalate potential cost-related requests to Product Management Team for cost-down reviews.
- Upload price changes in system – SAP price maintenance.
- Review special price requests for tender business and track win/lost sales.
- Work with and support sales on discounts, sales campaigns, and promotions.
- Oversee online and offline competitor prices for the responsible markets.
- Project support for new strategy initiatives.
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent field of education.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in the aftermarket sector.
- Experience in conducting research to identify trends and insights, and analyze to make useful reports and recommendations.
- Pricing/Costing Experience, Projects and campaigns management, Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Business acumen, customer orientation, organization, and coordination skills, self-initiative, and ability to work under pressure.
- Leadership skills, conflict management, communication skills.
- Competency in MS Office; Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience with SAP price maintenance.
- Seniority level: Mid-Senior level.
- Employment type: Full-time.
