Job Summary
The Territory Account Sales Executive (TASE) is a critical role that expands new business and renewals in main accounts to meet financial and company goals. This position is assigned a sales quota, and performance is measured by meeting quarterly and annual targets through up-selling, add-on sales, and cross-selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new business by creatively expanding existing accounts and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Oversee renewals in important accounts and ensure timely and successful contract negotiations.
- Evaluate and prepare business plans for each assigned account, including customer profiling, value messaging, and targeted sales strategies.
- Develop key relationships within the account, including with main executives, and translate customer challenges and opportunities into unique value propositions.
- Ensure the Autodesk team delivers value to the account, builds account business plans, and completes plans, builds opportunity pipelines, and uses sound call planning to achieve sales goals.
- Manage accounts through the entire sales process, from prospecting and specifications to contract negotiations and post-sales support.
- Deliver an accurate ongoing forecast of business and collaborate with channel partners to understand their business and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Provide regular customer feedback to the product, industry, and strategic marketing teams to help identify product strengths and areas for improvement.
- Negotiate deals and contracts at multiple levels within the targeted account, with a primary focus on 'C' and enterprise-level negotiations.
- Sell complex service engagements and creatively seek alternative solutions to meet customer needs.
- Be a trusted advisor for customers and identify win-win situations that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- A sales track record carrying a quota in a direct-led mid-market sales environment offering complex business solutions.
- Sales process and account experience maintaining clean records of sales outreach and contacts in a CRM.
- Executive selling and relationship experience, with a proven ability to grow global accounts.
- Channel sales experience and a strong understanding of the AEC industry or manufacturing (design & manufacturing) sector.
- Fluent English language skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
