Job Overview:

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the team of mechanical foremen to achieve exceptional service quality and ensure seamless execution of repair orders.

  • Organize and control the team of mechanical foremen to achieve the best possible service quality and execute all jobs according to the repair order.
  • Monitor the progress of work according to agreed priorities.
  • Ensure assessment and rectification work is done correctly to address customer complaints.
  • Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of all work areas.
  • Ensure all staff observe safety procedures, including the use of personal protective gear.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and mechanical foremen to prevent vehicles from overstaying, ensuring deadlines for vehicle submission are met.
  • Inform the workshop planner and workshop manager about the availability of mechanical foremen.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in vehicle repairs, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Sound knowledge of motor vehicles.
  • Excellent team player, self-driven, and proactive skills.
  • A minimum NTC 3 in Automotive Engineering or equivalent.

Work Schedule and Location:

The successful candidate will be required to work 6 days a week, from 9 AM to 6 PM (Monday to Saturday), at our Jurong West location.
