Green Building Consultant

As a passionate and dedicated Green Building Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding clients in adopting sustainable and environmentally friendly building practices. You will provide advisory on green building certifications, energy efficiency, and eco-friendly materials, helping clients design and construct buildings that minimize their environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their sustainability goals and objectives for building projects.
  2. Certification Guidance: Assist clients in obtaining green building certifications such as LEED or other regional certifications.
  3. Energy Efficiency: Evaluate building designs and recommend energy-efficient solutions.
  4. Sustainable Materials: Research and recommend eco-friendly building materials and construction methods.
  5. Environmental Assessments: Conduct environmental assessments of building sites to identify opportunities for sustainable design.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about green building regulations and ensure compliance with local and national environmental requirements.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate green building principles into project designs and plans.
  8. Education and Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and project teams to raise awareness about green building practices.
  9. Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients, outlining green building strategies and certifications achieved.


Required Qualifications:
  • Post-diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as LEED AP is highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in green building consulting or related roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of green building certifications, energy modelling software, and sustainable construction materials.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
