Job Title: Industry Engagement, Senior Executive

We are seeking a seasoned senior executive to lead our industry engagement efforts. This role plays a critical part in strengthening relationships within the furniture and furnishings ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be passionate about helping businesses grow, and have experience in membership relations or similar roles. A flair for community building is essential, as well as familiarity with the design/furniture/SME ecosystem.

  • Member Engagement & Communications:
    • Develop and implement a member engagement plan to foster strong, ongoing relationships with current members.
    • Plan and execute communication touchpoints (e.g., newsletters, updates, WhatsApp) to share SFIC's latest programs, activities, and opportunities.
    • Proactively gather feedback and insights from members to inform program development and advocacy efforts.
  • Membership Growth & Onboarding:
    • Identify and recruit new members with aligned interests and growth potential.
    • Lead the onboarding process, ensuring new members are welcomed and integrated into the SFIC ecosystem effectively.
    • Curate and maintain updated member profiles and engagement records.
  • Strategic Events & Partnership Engagement:
    • Co-develop meaningful events and initiatives with industry collaborators.
    • Support SFIC's key industry events and outreach efforts, ensuring strong participation and relevant programming.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A strategic communicator with 3+ years of experience in membership relations, business development, industry associations or similar roles. Strong organisational and project management skills are required, along with a passion for community building and helping businesses grow.
