Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Aquatic Animal Care Specialist to oversee a team of junior aquarists, ensuring high standards of animal care.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Marine Science, Aquaculture, Biological or Life Sciences and be scuba diving certified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee animal husbandry tasks, including underwater work, and review diets and nutritional requirements.
  • Coordinate animal medical procedures and movements between locations.
  • Supervise and maintain the cleanliness of habitats under your care.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, repair tools and equipment, and observe and record animal behavior.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Marine Science, Aquaculture, Biological or Life Sciences.
  • Scuba diving certified (Open Water Dive and above).
  • Confident working in an aquatic environment and possess good leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about working with animals and committed to environmental sustainability and conservation.
