Inventory Management Specialist

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory processes. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain accurate records of our stock levels, ensuring timely reordering of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor stock levels and maintain records to identify discrepancies and address them promptly.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of products to optimize space and prevent damage.

Stock Movement and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on stock levels, movements, and audit findings.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports summarizing stock levels and movements.

Order Processing and Management:

  • Create purchase orders and update items in the system to ensure accurate tracking and matching of item codes with stock inventory.
  • Generate delivery orders and liaise with the warehouse to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Receiving and Issuing Stock:

  • Oversee receipt of goods, ensuring documentation, inspection, and storage comply with company procedures.
  • Coordinate stock issuance to destinations as required.

System Management and Compliance:

  • Update and maintain the inventory management system with accurate stock data.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards.

Collaboration and Ad-hoc Duties:

  • Work closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams for smooth inventory operations.
  • Assist in coordinating product returns, transfers, and deliveries to customers.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., Autocount).
  • Basic accounting knowledge is preferred.
