About The Role:

  • The primary responsibility is to support the Home Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, guaranteeing that residents receive exceptional care in line with established protocols and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • Forecast weekly and monthly work schedules for Welfare Officers, ensuring timely coverage and resource allocation.
  • Manage staff movements, including leave arrangements, training schedules, and duty rosters to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Conduct daily supervision checks on Welfare Officers' interactions with residents to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend suitable training programs for Welfare Officers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Resident Care & Welfare:

  • Raise timely reports and ensure compliance with regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Conduct regular circle time sessions with Welfare Officers to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes as needed.
  • Assist in implementing academic schedules and oversee volunteer child minders to provide a supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in social service or residential care management roles.

Preferred Experience:

  • Supervisory experience in managing teams in residential care settings.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and residential care standards.
">

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational management systems.

Workplace Information:

  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday - 8.00am – 5.30pm, Friday - 8.00am – 5.00pm.
  • Official Workplace: Darul Ihsan Orphanage or Darul Ihsan Girls Orphanage.
