Join a pioneering team as a Metrology Engineer and unlock the future of materials science and engineering. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to validate supplier parts, program inspection equipment, and convey out-of-tolerance data to engineering for part disposition. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement smart factory technologies such as digital twins, predictive maintenance, and AI-driven quality control in the metrology lab.
Key Responsibilities
  • Validates Supplier Parts to the Part Print using Applied Materials' Drawings and CAD models
  • Programs Parts on Various Inspection Equipment – Examples: Calypso, GOM, QVPak
  • Applies ASME Y14.5 GD&T Concepts and Fundamentals for Dimensional Inspection of Supplier Parts
  • Conveys Out of Tolerance Data to Engineering for Part Disposition
  • Communicates Methods of Inspection to Suppliers Including; Tools used, Set-up methods and Datum Establishment, for Alignment/Collaboration
