Job Title: Senior Risk and Control Manager

We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Business Risk and Control Manager. This role is based in Singapore and will be part of the Global Investment Risk Assessment and Control Design team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with cross-functional teams to understand regulatory changes, conducting gap analyses, and developing action plans to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The role also involves working closely with Product teams to evaluate and drive the maintenance of regulatory inventory linkages in supporting controls within Citi's systems.

We are looking for a candidate with strong strategic, analytical, and product management skills, with at least 8-10 years of experience in risk, control, audit or compliance roles. The ideal candidate should have exposure to core end-to-end processes performed in Consumer and Private Bank businesses, as well as prior experience and exposure in Investment Products across Capital Markets and Manage Investments.

The following qualifications are required:

  1. University graduate with at least 8-10 years of experience with strong strategic, analytical and product management skills
  2. Must have exposure to 4-6 years of Risk, Control, Audit or Compliance roles
  3. Working-level knowledge of core end-to-end processes performed in the Consumer and Private Bank business
  4. Prior experience and exposure in Investment Products across Capital Markets and Manage Investments
  5. Experience with governance, risk and control management, risk approvals, as well as engaging with 2nd/3rd lines of defense
  6. Understanding / familiarity with new product development (e.g. first and second line of defense risk/control mechanisms
