Senior Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to join our team as a Senior Care Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate in Healthcare Support, WSQ Home Care certification, or an equivalent qualification. A minimum GCE 'N' Level or relevant certificate is also required. The candidate should be comfortable working with seniors and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, feeding, and transfers.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment within households and shared areas.
- Foster positive relationships with seniors and their families through regular communication.
- Identify and escalate behavioral concerns in a timely manner.
- Plan and facilitate recreational programs suitable for seniors with dementia or mental health conditions.
- Encourage senior participation in center-based activities and monitor engagement levels.
- Perform range of motion exercises and support mobility and rehabilitation efforts.
- Integrate maintenance rehab routines into daily care plans.
- Observe and document seniors' progress; communicate relevant data to therapy or nursing staff.
- Assist with medication-related tasks, including serving pre-packed meds and applying topical treatments.
- Monitor vital health indicators and escalate when necessary.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations; administer CPR/AED and first aid as needed.

- Comfortable working with seniors and possessing excellent communication skills.
