Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for conducting thorough research on industries, companies, and macroeconomic trends to evaluate potential investments. You will analyze financial statements, valuation metrics, and market data to support investment decisions.

Additionally, you will develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models, comparable company analysis, and scenario modeling.

You will also prepare detailed reports, investment memos, and presentations summarizing research findings and investment recommendations for the investment team, senior management, and clients.

Furthermore, you will monitor portfolio positions and market movements, providing timely updates to the investment team. You will assist with performance attribution calculations and portfolio data reconciliations.

You will collect, organize, and enter data for financial analysis and reporting.

Moreover, you will prepare data for investment meetings, attend them, and take comprehensive minutes to document key discussions and decisions.

Lastly, you will assist in preparing product due diligence materials for the investment team's review.

Skills and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in financial analysis, strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for modeling and analysis, and PowerPoint for presentations.

They will also have strong analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail, crucial for evaluating complex financial information.

A willingness to learn, strong communication and teamwork skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment are highly valued.

Basic understanding of financial statements, investment principles, and the capital markets is generally expected.
