Investment Research Analyst Overview

Our team seeks a skilled Investment Research Analyst to cover small and medium cap companies listed on the Singapore exchange. This position involves developing financial models for forecasting and conducting thorough financial statement analysis. The analyst will prepare equity research reports backed by industry and company-specific data, as well as insights from experts and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive financial models for forecasting and analyzing performance of small and medium cap companies listed on the Singapore exchange
  • Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare high-quality equity research reports that provide actionable insights to clients
  • Interpret economic and market trends to recommend trading and investment strategies to clients on a weekly basis
  • Present research findings and trading ideas to internal sales teams and external clients

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Equity Research
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Multitasking abilities with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and Bloomberg
