Job Title: Fresh Seafood Operations Manager


As a key member of our team, you will oversee the daily operations of the seafood department, ensuring high standards of product quality and customer service. You will manage inventory, staff, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the seafood department, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure the availability of fresh, high-quality seafood products by monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Maintain proper seafood storage, handling, and display procedures to ensure food safety and product freshness.
  • Assist customers with product selection, providing knowledge about seafood types, preparation, and cooking methods.
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to promote seafood products and increase sales.
  • Track and report on sales, inventory levels, and profitability.
  • Enforce health codes and company policies.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE BEST PRICING, QUALITY, AND TIMELY DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS.
  • Resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in seafood management or a related field.
  2. Knowledge of seafood products, preparation, and cooking techniques.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  6. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Food safety certification is preferred.
  8. Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, as required.
