Construction Coordinator Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Coordinator to assist in project planning, defining scope, and maintaining project schedules.

This position involves coordinating procurement of materials and equipment, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining project documentation, contracts, change orders, and reports.

The successful candidate will act as a point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel, monitoring construction activities for compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project planning, scope definition, and schedule maintenance
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Maintain project documentation, contracts, change orders, and reports
  • Act as a point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel
  • Monitor construction activities for compliance with specifications and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in construction coordination or a related role
  • Class 3 license
  • Knowledge of construction processes
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with construction-related regulations and safety standards
