Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned Digital Transformation Leader to helm our product portfolio. As Assistant/Deputy Director (Product), you'll lead the end-to-end success of our products, overseeing them from conceptualisation to launch.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a product strategy aligned with our organisation's mission, representing it in executive stakeholder meetings and leading efforts to galvanise support.
  • Lead a team of product managers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards throughout the product development process.
  • Monitor product performance, manage team resources, and achieve the outcomes envisioned by the product strategy.
  • Identify technology adoption gaps, explore new market segments, and assess new product opportunities, designing go-to-market strategies and negotiating partnership agreements.
  • BUILD THE PRODUCT PRACTICE – fostering a culture of collegiality, seamless collaboration, and joint accountability between product, business, and engineering teams.
  • Mentor and lead your team of product managers to develop their professional competencies, hone their business and tech acumen, and build strong camaraderie within the team.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years shaping products in data and AI, robotics, communications tech, or blockchain.
  • A strong technology background, coupled with an astute sense of how technology impacts businesses and government service delivery.
  • Persuasive communication skills for senior stakeholders and effective room-reading abilities to calibrate messaging.
  • Agile methodologies, product roadmap management, and articulating engineering and business trade-offs.
  • Market dynamics, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and pivoting between data-driven decisions and ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrated experience building and nurturing a team, leading, coaching, managing resource prioritisation, and guiding towards success.
What We Offer:
  • A strong technical foundation, with expectations to code and configure infrastructure, execute git commands, and understand system architecture, UI/UX, and good software development practices.
  • A competitive salary commensurate with experience, expected to be around SGD 180,000 - 220,000 per annum.
