Job Title: VMware Infrastructure Strategist

This role is responsible for designing, implementing and supporting cutting-edge IT infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization and IT infrastructure design, as well as experience in delivering projects involving system optimization and security enhancements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead deployments and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and design tailored solutions
  • Oversee system upgrades, migrations and performance enhancements to optimize system reliability
  • Implement security measures and load balancing solutions to fortify system resilience
  • Conduct thorough assessments and recommend strategic enhancements to IT infrastructure
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including design plans and handover guides
  • Provide advisory support during pre-sales discussions
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and security standards
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3-7 years of experience in VMware solutions in complex enterprise settings
  • Strong background in virtualization and IT infrastructure design
  • Proven track record of delivering projects involving system optimization and security enhancements
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable business-focused solutions
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills, with demonstrated documentation ability

Preferred Certifications (an advantage):

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV / VCP-NV)
  • NSX-T or AVI Load Balancer certifications
  • ITIL Foundation
