Senior Quality Assurance and Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Assurance and Procurement Specialist to join our organization.
- This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures that ensure food safety and compliance with industry standards.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Routine in-process checks will be performed to ensure products meet required quality standards before product release.
- Accurate records of lab test results, sampling schedules, non-conformance reports, and certificates of analysis must be maintained.
- The ideal candidate will accept, evaluate, and monitor the quality of raw materials, assist in supplier audits, and address quality concerns.
- Production deviations will be investigated, root causes identified, and corrective actions implemented in collaboration with the production team.
- Training will be provided to production staff on food safety practices and quality standards, promoting awareness across the organization.
- The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact to ensure compliance with food safety standards and participate in internal/external audits to maintain certifications and quality systems.
- Collaboration with the production team will be essential to forecast demand and align procurement schedules.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in QA/QC or Procurement, preferably from the food manufacturing industry.
- Halal Competency Assessment (HCA) certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- NITEC/Diploma in Food Technology or Food Science is a requirement.
- Experience in implementing and/or maintaining MUIS Halal Certification & ISO22000 is advantageous.
