Job Title

A Sustainability Associate will play a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving growth by supporting sales and account management functions.

The successful candidate will engage with clients, understand their sustainability needs, and facilitate their journey on our platform. They will work closely with the Business Development team to drive business success and contribute to our mission of making ESG data accessible and impactful.

  • Manage post-sales processes, including client onboarding, addressing inquiries, and providing sustainability-related guidance on our platform's tools and offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and ongoing engagement with clients.
  • Provide behind-the-scenes support such as preparing sustainability reports, supporting carbon emissions calculations, and tracking data inputs for clients based on frameworks like GHG Protocol and ISSB.
  • Conduct research on sustainability trends, regulations, and market developments to support internal knowledge-building and provide clients with relevant insights.
  • Assist the sales and business development team in preparing tailored proposals, client decks, technical documentation, and reporting templates.
  • Support internal coordination efforts by compiling client requirements and liaising with product and engineering teams to address customisation needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, feedback, and engagement history using CRM systems.
  • Represent us at client meetings, industry events, and conferences when required, serving as a key liaison between clients and our team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Environmental Science, or related disciplines.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in account management, business development, or sales.
  • Passion for sustainability is a must. Knowledge of ESG data and regulations is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
  • Experience with CRM tools, sales systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining high customer service standards.
