The Captain is responsible for providing efficient and professional service of food and beverages to guests while ensuring they receive optimum service in accordance with Conrad hotels and Hilton Group standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high customer service focus by approaching tasks with guests in mind
  • Actively promoting hotel services and facilities to guests and suppliers
  • Performing duties and responsibilities in a manner that ensures safety and that of others
  • Confidently knowing food and beverage menu contents and explaining them to guests
  • Understanding dietary requirements and offering suggestions
  • Familiarizing with menu items of other outlets to recommend to guests
  • Knowing opening hours of all restaurants and hotel outlets
  • Recommending other restaurants and city attractions to hotel guests

To succeed as a Captain at Hilton, you should possess the following attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:

  • Senior High School education or specialty in Hospitality
  • Good English skills to meet business needs
  • Motivated and committed, approaching tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge
  • Flexible and responsive to changing requirements
  • Maintaining high team focus and cooperation with colleagues
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcohol
  • Able to remember, recite, and promote menu items
  • Open-minded and outgoing personality
  • Willingness to work long hours
