Job Description:

As a developer in this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative security solutions for homeland security, smart cities, and critical infrastructure. You will work closely with project teams to design, develop, and test software components that meet product and functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project team activities to build scalable micro-services-based architectures
  • Develop technical and solution designs, code, and component tests to ensure alignment with product/functional specifications
  • Collaborate with architects to create, implement, and maintain product/solution development roadmaps
  • Evaluate all work against Thales software development methodologies and processes
  • Document design to ensure usability, supportability, and maintainability of developed components
  • Provide strong and timely support to IVVQ teams, site deployment, and site issue investigation
Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with full web application development lifecycle, including tools, best practices, continuous deployment, dependency/complexity management, scale/performance tuning, monitoring, resiliency, etc.

  • Expert knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns
  • Experience in SCRUM/Agile software development methodologies
  • Proficiency in C#, .Net Core, ASP.NET, HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, MS SQL Server, PostgresDB, Java, Spring boot, Angular, ClickHouse, Apache Nifi, container orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, AWS ECS), virtualization, and container orchestration systems
  • Good knowledge of container orchestration systems, test automation tools and frameworks, and setting up continuous integration (e.g. GitLab CI)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
