Develop and execute strategies for strategic commodities to achieve quality, price, and timely delivery goals.

Build cross-functional relationships using negotiation, persuasion, and tact to gain support from key suppliers and customers to ensure success.

Establish and drive strategic global bidding initiatives ensuring all site interests are understood and accounted for; support worldwide product pricing strategy and process.

Conduct strategic analysis on pricing, market, suppliers, customers, competitors, contracts, and long-term agreements; manage complex and diverse commodities in a dynamic environment.

Ensure timely execution of commodity plans, supplier analysis, development and selection, quotation/contracting, and supplier relationship management within established processes and policies.

Act as primary interface with suppliers for relationship management, contract negotiation, performance reviews, business development, and supplier awards programs.

Track and report performance metrics regularly.

Requirements:

  • At least 5-7 years in the Semiconductor Industry.
  • Deep understanding of AP culture.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts, stocking programs, LT reductions, and supplier development.
  • Problem resolution and conflict management skills.
  • Knowledge of global supply chain trends and influences on strategic commodities, including industry pricing, technology, and supply/demand trends.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and financial analysis.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High integrity.
  • Challenges the status quo, adopts rational fact-based problem resolution methodology, and implements continuous improvements.
  • Ability to build strong supplier and cross-functional relationships.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Effective in leading complex negotiations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong desire to learn and take on dynamic challenges.
