Compliance Risk Management Specialist

Role Overview
You'll play a key role in developing and executing our Compliance Risk Management Program, focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) and other high-risk areas like Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, and Market Abuse. This role is central to conducting Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessments (EWRA), enhancing controls and producing actionable insights for senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the global Compliance Risk Management Program; lead annual EWRA cycles
- Expand the EWRA program to cover Sanctions, ABC and Market Abuse risks
- Work with compliance teams to assess new and existing products for risk
- Maintain and document risk controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with global teams to align methodology and execution of risk assessments
- Assist in horizon scanning and regulatory impact assessments
- Generate actionable risk insights and performance reports for leadership
- Track and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and recommend mitigations for risks outside of appetite
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in compliance within regulated financial services
- 2+ years direct experience with EWRA implementation
Preferred: CAMS-RM or similar advanced risk certification. Strong understanding of compliance risks and control environments. Excellent communication skills—able to simplify complex issues. Self-starter with strong problem-solving ability and teamwork mindset.
