We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead our Security Operations Center (SOC). As a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Lead, you will be responsible for spearheading threat operations, mentoring junior analysts, and driving advanced investigations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing critical incidents, reducing false positives, and leading threat hunts that uncovered APT campaigns. Additionally, they should have experience with government cybersecurity projects and possess relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH or GCFA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading daily SOC shift operations and ensuring adherence to incident SLAs
- Mentoring junior analysts in triage techniques, alert validation, and incident response playbooks
- Conducting quarterly purple team exercises to validate SOC detection effectiveness
- Delivering monthly presentations of SOC threat reports to client CISOs and key stakeholders
- Performing proactive threat hunts leveraging MITRE ATT&CK and threat intel sources
- Engineering and implementing custom detection rules to detect regional APTs
- Serving as primary POC during high-severity incident response calls with clients
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have:
- A minimum of 5+ years in Security Operations Center roles
- At least 2 years in a leadership role within a 24/7 SOC environment
- A proven record of managing 200+ critical incidents/year, reducing false positives by ?40%, and leading threat hunts that uncovered ?3 APT campaigns

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. They should also be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Threat Hunting: Perform proactive threat hunts leveraging MITRE ATT&CK and threat intel sources
- Incident Response: Lead daily SOC shift operations, ensure adherence to incident SLAs, and serve as primary POC during high-severity incident response calls with clients
- Team Management: Mentor junior analysts in triage techniques, alert validation, and incident response playbooks
- Reporting: Deliver monthly presentations of SOC threat reports to client CISOs and key stakeholders
Our ideal candidate has:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity-related field
- Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH or GCFA
- Experience with threat hunting, incident response, and team management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
