Cybersecurity Operations Leader Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to oversee the strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of our 24/7 cybersecurity operations.

  • Analyzing and interpreting data from security tools including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident response plans, and escalation protocols.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to a team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers.
  • Overseeing the implementation and operation of cloud security platforms (e.g., Azure).
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, RBI Guidelines, CERT-In).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, with a master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 10 years in a leadership role in security operations.
  • Proven experience managing or supporting cybersecurity operations in India or with Indian teams/vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar) and security tools (Firewalls, EDR, SOAR).
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, RBI Guidelines, CERT-In).
