Production Operations Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Production Operations Lead to oversee daily plant and production line operations.

  • Responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, equipment reliability, and manpower coordination to achieve production targets with quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the factory floor and production lines.

• Conduct routine equipment checks and ensure machines are running smoothly, promptly addressing and resolving any issues.

• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules.

• Coordinate manpower allocation and shift planning based on production demands.

• Collaborate closely with engineering/technical teams for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process improvement.

• Liaise with inventory, spare parts, and supply teams to ensure materials and components are available to support continuous production.

• Maintain production records, logs, and reports accurately and timely.

• Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping (5S), and compliance with operational procedures.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize rejects/waste.

• Supervise, train, and motivate operators, ensuring they are capable of performing assigned tasks effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent; technical certificates may be considered.

• 3-5 years of experience in production supervision, preferably in a factory or manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and basic maintenance.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.

• Ability to manage a team, coordinate work schedules, and maintain discipline.

• Strong communication skills for cross-department coordination (technical, warehouse, maintenance, etc.).

• Work at Height Supervisor / Forklift License is a plus point.

• Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., ISO, WSH) and basic computer skills (MS Office; ERP systems knowledge is a plus).
