Job Summary

The successful candidate will possess expertise in VistA/CPRS functionality, responsible for the configuration, management, and optimization of VistA and CPRS systems. This role involves establishing test plans and scripts, conducting assessments, performing data analysis, generating reports, communicating findings, and providing recommendations for design and functionality enhancements of new or modified clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement health informatics solutions across various clinical specialties.
  • Configure and operate CPRS, develop test plans for specific CDS tools, and extract/analyze data from VistA/CPRS.
  • Update and install patches in virtual environments, coach team members, and provide advisory services on informatics expertise.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical grasp and proficiency in VistA and CPRS, ideally with recent experience as a HIS/CAC or a minimum of 10 years of experience with these systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of consults, clinical procedures and orders, text integration utilities (TIU), and reminder dialogs.
  • Expertise in development and implementation of health informatics solutions and clinical decision support (CDS) tools.
