Job Description:
Position :
QA / QC Cum Procurement Executive responsible for ensuring food safety and compliance with industry standards.

Location :
Bedok North.

Working hours : 5 days (Monday - Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm), Alternate Saturday (8:30am to 1:00pm)

Main Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure food safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of production process to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform routine in-process checks to ensure products meet required quality standard before product release.
Maintain accurate records of lab test results, sampling schedule, non-conformance reports, and certificates of analysis.
Accept, evaluate and monitor quality of raw materials, assist in supplier audits and address quality concerns.
Investigate production deviations, identify root causes and collaborate with production team to implement corrective actions.
Provide training to production staff on food safety practices and quality standards, promoting awareness across the organisation.

As primary point of contact to ensure compliance with food safety standards and participate in internal / external audits to maintain certifications and quality systems.

Be a Halal Team Member and have passed the Halal Competency Assessment.
Implement MUIS Halal Certification conditions and rectify any non-compliance issues.
Work closely with production team to forecast demand and align procurement schedules
Monitor stock levels and coordinate just-in-time deliveries to minimise wastage & storage.

Key Skills and Qualifications :

  • At least 2 years' experience in QA / QC or Procurement preferably from food manufacturing
  • Possess Halal Competency Assessment but not mandatory
  • NITEC/Diploma in Food Technology or Food Science
  • Experience in implementing and/or maintaining MUIS Halal Certification & ISO22000
