The role of Field Application Scientist is to provide technical support for downstream filtration product lines. This individual will utilize their knowledge of process development, filtration, and manufacturing to assist customers with pre- and post-sales opportunities.

Job Description:

This position involves collaborating with the sales team and product management to offer technical support, conduct seminars, perform product demonstrations, provide on-site/in-lab training, and troubleshoot customer issues. The candidate will develop project plans to meet customer needs using Repligen technologies, prepare detailed technical reports from customer interactions, and contribute to applications data and collateral generation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a BSc degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a downstream purification discipline in a development or manufacturing setting within the bioprocessing industry.
  • Relevant experience in filtration and chromatography.
  • Working knowledge of scale-up/scale-down, tech transfer, and cGMP requirements.
