Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at The GMP Group. In this role, you will support the site commissioning team in ensuring smooth plant start-up and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operating power plants during commercial operation or commissioning periods. A minimum of 5 years' experience is required, along with a G.C.E. "O" level or Higher NITEC qualification.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating plant systems such as pumps and fans according to commissioning team instructions.
  • Monitoring plant operating conditions and notifying the commissioning team of any issues.
  • Taking corrective actions for plant commissioning and operation issues as instructed by the commissioning team.
  • Working shifts depending on commissioning progress.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum G.C.E. "O" level or Higher NITEC qualification.
  • More than 5 years' experience in power plant operations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
