We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems that power the core infrastructure of our platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java and a solid understanding of software architecture, RESTful APIs, multithreading, and event-driven design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and system design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Write high-quality, production-ready Java code to support scalable and efficient systems.
  • Collaborate with research teams to improve quantitative trading models and algorithm performance.
  • Partner with trading and operations teams to develop new trading tools and optimize existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, debug problems, and implement robust fixes.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Java and backend development lifecycle.
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture, RESTful APIs, multithreading, and event-driven design.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and large-scale system development.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience in algorithmic trading systems or work with trading desks, hedge funds, or financial services.
  • Academic background in Mathematics, Algorithms, or Engineering.
