As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome physical, mental, and emotional challenges to live fulfilling lives.

About the Job

This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as a Locum Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' needs and developing personalized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional health to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help patients improve daily living skills and enhance their functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other therapists, to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage and improve functionality, promoting independence and self-management.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct therapy sessions in various settings, including individual and group sessions, to cater to diverse patient needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have experience working in a multidisciplinary team and be familiar with relevant legislation and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in assessing patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
