Associate Engineer, Data Centre

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Engineer to join our team in the data centre operations. This role involves working at the forefront of the data centre industry with a focus on sustainability, connectivity and AI.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data centre facilities and operations support as well as data centre operations best practice. They should possess basic knowledge in infocomm technology and ITIL foundation level certification.

Key responsibilities include incident response and resolution, customer request fulfilment and system management, performing benchmarking on system performance and presenting to management.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all IoT sensors deployed are accurate and good working condition, escalating issues to technical specialists' team if necessary.

Able to perform troubleshooting of network connection relating to BMS/EMS/PQMS that affected the accuracy of data collection. Equipped with analytic mind to read, understand and digest data collect, to provide information and recommendation for better operate the DC.

Must be very sound with all system MOP/SOP to provide system recovery solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Engineering / IT with at least 2 years of experience in DC Operations
  • Good knowledge in Data Centre Facilities and Operations Support as well as Data Centre Operations Best Practice
  • Possess Basic Certificate of Infocomm Technology and ITIL Foundation Level Certification
  • Team player who is also able to perform independently
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Well organized and able to reschedule priorities as circumstances change
  • Good communication skills (both verbal & written)
  • Analytical with good problem-solving skills
