Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Specialist

The Equipment Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective functioning of equipment within our operation. This position is responsible for working closely with the Equipment Engineer to establish and implement preventive maintenance programs that optimize equipment uptime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration with Equipment Engineer: Work with the Equipment Engineer to develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plans that align with operational needs.
  • Troubleshooting and Calibration: Perform routine troubleshooting and calibration tasks as assigned by the Equipment Engineer, reporting back on findings and recommendations.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Foster open communication and collaboration with team members to ensure seamless workflow and optimal equipment performance.
  • Process Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of wet chemical processes and be able to apply this expertise to support equipment operations.
  • Reporting and Transparency: Provide regular updates and reports to management on equipment status, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
  • Workflow Coordination: Coordinate effectively between process teams to maintain equipment uptime and support overall operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in process improvement initiatives within the area, contributing ideas and suggestions for enhancing equipment performance and reducing downtime.
  • Spare Parts Management: Collaborate with the Equipment Engineer to develop and implement effective spare parts management strategies that minimize downtime and optimize equipment availability.
  • Implementation of 6S Principles: Apply the principles of 6S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to organizational standards and best practices.
