Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Job DescriptionThe Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of plant machinery and supporting equipment. This includes performing preventative maintenance and repairs, as well as providing technical support to other teams.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and hydraulic drive systems. The successful candidate will also have experience with troubleshooting and repair of DC drives and controls, as well as PLC fault finding.
In addition to technical skills, the Equipment Maintenance Specialist must possess excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum Higher Nitec qualification
- 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a distribution environment
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and repair of DC drives and controls
- PLC fault finding skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
