Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of electrical systems within our manufacturing facility.

  1. Manage and perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including high and low voltage systems, motor control centers (MCCs), PLCs, and power distribution networks.
  2. Ensure all electrical systems are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, particularly those specific to vaccine manufacturing.
  3. Maintain all HT, LV switchboards, ELV systems (FA, PA, CCTV, ACS, and EVC) and instruments in good condition at all times to minimize disruption to the production process.
Instrumentation Maintenance and Calibration
  • Manage and perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation devices, such as temperature sensors, pressure transducers, flow meters, and analytical instruments critical to vaccine production.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all instrumentation through regular calibration and performance testing.

This role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have experience working with electrical systems and instrumentation devices, as well as knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Related diploma or ITE or advanced diploma from an accredited technical institution.
  2. Minimum 3-8 years' experience in operation, maintenance, and calibration in electrical and instrumentation fields and pharmaceutical manufacturing plant experience.
  3. Good knowledge and understanding of Singapore standards code of practice SS 650 and SS 638, calibration and operation principle of various types of instruments as well as cGMP guide and relevant maintenance standards.
  4. Demonstrated experience in managing the transition from greenfield projects to operational readiness.
  5. Certification in calibration or a related field is desirable.
