Electrical Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in an exciting opportunity that involves attending site surveys, meetings and discussions with clients and contractors. As an Assistant Project Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out regular site inspections, ensuring all maintenance programs are implemented effectively, and assisting in preparing reports and method statements as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering and minimum one year's experience in electrical engineering environment. Training will be provided for entry-level candidates.

You will work closely with the lead engineer to interpret basic schematics and SLD diagrams and take on a specialist equipment role. You may be required to receive specialized training and provide training to internal staff.

The key responsibilities include planning and execution of corrective or preventive maintenance programs, participating in annual shutdown exercises, and ensuring proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment and tools.

The required skills and qualifications include data analysis, good teamwork, willingness to learn and ability to understand high voltage electrical networks. Microsoft Office expertise is also required.
