Job Title: Production Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating plant equipment and processes both from the control room (DCS) and in the field under guidance from the Production Engineer.

  • Operate plant equipment and processes both from the control room (DCS) and in the field under guidance from the Production Engineer.
  • Follow all EHS regulations, SOPs, and emergency procedures.
  • Perform field duties such as material and catalyst loading, equipment preparation for Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), filter replacements, 5S rounds, and regular inspections.
  • Learn to operate the Delta V DCS system with support from senior technicians.
  • Assist with sampling and basic testing during production.
  • Report any safety issues, accidents, or unsafe behaviors immediately.
  • Participate in safety programs and serve as part of the firefighting team when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other related engineering qualification (e.g. Nitec)
  • Able to work 24/7 shift schedule
  • Basic understanding of chemical processes
  • Able to use Microsoft Office. Experience in SAP PM module will be an added advantage.
