Job Title: Critical Infrastructure Manager

Job Description:

This role is responsible for leading a team of engineers to operate and maintain critical data centre infrastructure and facilities, ensuring 100% availability of services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and mentoring a team, with relevant certifications such as CDCP, CDCS. They should also be familiar with industry standards like BCM, LEED Gold, ISO 20000 / 22301 / 27001, TIA 942, Uptime Institute Tier III, Green Mark.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Data Centre team to operate and maintain critical infrastructure and facilities
  • Comply with all SLAs, including legal, budget, and audit requirements
  • Manage stakeholders and achieve corporate KPIs, including Sustainability award, Green Mark certification
  • Plan, operate, and maintain Data Centres to meet short and mid-term objectives in a cost-effective manner
  • Implement and execute approved strategies in a timely and proper manner
  • Formulate work plans for optimal Data Centre operation and manage their execution
  • Lead the Data Centre facilities team to ensure 100% availability and compliance with agreed SLAs, legal, budget, audit requirements
  • Oversee and manage onsite operational incidents and major issues, including change management activities
  • Manage critical facilities equipment and other equipment associated with the Data Centre environment
  • Generate and provide periodic reports for management review and meetings
  • Review and approve justified spendings in compliance with Procurement Policy
  • Execute approved preventive maintenance programs
  • Lead incident and change management to minimize impact on customer services
  • Review safe work responsibilities and ensure strict adherence to safety requirements, procedures, laws, and regulations
  • Lead facility management and Data Centre related certifications and implement related compliance
  • Develop and review policies, SOPs, and Emergency Operating Procedures

Key Qualifications:

  • Appropriate qualification in Engineering, with at least 15 years of relevant experience in a 24x7 critical infrastructure/DC/telco environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring a team of Engineers/Specialists
  • Familiarity with industry standards and certifications such as CDCP, CDCS, BCM, LEED Gold, ISO 20000 / 22301 / 27001, TIA 942, Uptime Institute Tier III, Green Mark
