Chief Data Centre Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our data centre facilities.
- Manage the operations and maintenance of data centre facilities to ensure all systems are running efficiently.
- Oversee the mechanical, electrical, and building systems to ensure they meet performance and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with vendors to manage and optimise service contracts to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Coordinate and ensure proper project execution for new installations or upgrades.
- Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the facility.
- Implement and maintain best practices in facility management to ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met.
- Track and monitor facility performance to ensure optimal uptime and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with internal teams to plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors.
- Strong knowledge of building technologies, mechanical and electrical systems, and facilities management.
- Proven experience in data centre facility management and vendor management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and track job progress effectively.
