Job Title: Contract Cost Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contract Cost Manager to join our team. As a Contract Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from tendering to completion.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and will possess excellent analytical and communication skills. You will work closely with the project team to identify cost savings opportunities and implement effective cost control measures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Tendering and contract administration
  • Cost planning and budgeting
  • Cost reporting and analysis
  • Negotiation and dispute resolution

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional who can attend tender interviews, prepare and analyze costing for tenders, and submit progress claims and project accounts.

You will also be responsible for sourcing quotations for trade works, verifying claims for variation and payments, and analyzing outcomes to write detailed progress reports.

In addition, you will assist with ad-hoc duties as required by management.
