Senior/Enrolled Nurse Role

The role of a Senior/Enrolled Nurse is to provide high-quality care to residents while maintaining a safe and clean ward environment.

Clinical Care Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to approved nursing practices
  • Collaborate with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to deliver care and update on changes in residents' conditions and needs
  • Support staff nurses (SN) in developing care plans for each resident, ensuring care delivery aligns with outlined plans
  • Evaluate residents' responses to care interventions and revise care plans if necessary
  • Assess new admissions and prepare their medical records
  • Administer medications to residents, following safe medication practices
  • Supervise junior staff to ensure safe and quality resident care
Quality Assurance Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic ward environment
  • Participate in Quality Assurance/Infection Control Committee to monitor and evaluate the safety, quality, and appropriateness of nursing care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Training and Development Responsibilities:
  • Support training and development of junior staff
  • Orient and induct newly joined nursing aides, healthcare assistants, and health attendants
Administration Responsibilities:
  • Ensure secure storage of confidential files, records, and documents
  • Foster effective working relationships within the Nursing Department and between internal and external customer groups
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory list of ward equipment and schedule regular maintenance

Requirements:

  • 3 years or more relevant nursing experience
  • Fresh graduates welcome to apply
  • NITEC in Nursing or related field
  • 5 days work week, rotating off days
