This role involves improving logistics efficiency and customer experience through data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will develop and implement analytical models to optimize transportation routes, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that can drive improvements in logistics and supply chain processes.
- Transportation Optimization: Focus on optimizing logistics processes to deliver parcels faster and at lower costs.
- Fulfillment Operations Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize warehouse operations, including layout optimization, automation, and inventory management.
- Project Management: Conduct trials and build prototypes of solutions to evaluate effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages, with extensive use of Python for modelling and data analytics.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in operations research, data analytics, or a similar analytical role, preferably in e-Commerce, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a solid analytical mindset.
- Agility and Pragmatism: Capable of building prototypes and iterating solutions quickly.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Thrives in a team-based environment.
